SNL Is Funny Sometimes, Apparently!
I kinda stopped watching SNL a long time ago because it's not that funny anymore, not to mention the fact that it's on really late and I'm an old, old man who can't stay up past midnight anymore. I mean, couldn't it be Saturday Mid-Afternoon Live? Anyway, the downside of not really watching SNL is that, occasionally, I'll miss something that's actually hilarious. Not often, but it does happen from time to time. Thanks to the magic of the YouTube, however, I can manage to both catch the funniness and get to bed at a reasonable hour, which is good for everyone. Or just me. Whatever. Anyway, here's this:

No joke, I just watched this a few minutes ago and I was doing the "silent laugh" thing so hard that I had real tears streaming down my manly, handsome face and my whole body was all a-quiver.
P.S. There's a good chance that no one else is going to find this as funny as I do.

Lioux... I'd forgotten about them. Parenthetically, I read one time that everyone in the cast hated Jan Hooks because she was a total bitch. Just sayin'.

I'm sorry, Jew... it's my all my fault. I'm just so busy with this damn Peterson account and, well you know how it is trying to put food on the table and raising these kids on shoestring budget and also I'm missing a leg.
Sometimes, this old man will mix up a name or two. It's these damned eyes of mine; they don't see too good anymore and I've got the kidney problems and a guy just stabbed me, so now I've got to deal with THAT.
Anyway, alls I'm trying to say is please... PLEASE... find it in your heart to forgive a foolish drunk who tries his best, but doesn't quite make it across that white line sometimes.

I absolutely find it as funny as you do. I love all the "Digital Short"s from SNL lately. It's worth it, seriously, to find NBC's YouTube account, flip through all the videos posted and watch every one that says "SNL Digital Short". Andy Samberg & company might just bring SNL back from the dead. :D

dude, saw that sketch the first night it aired and lost my shit. i was hanging out with this girl i was hooking up with at the time and it was cold so we decided to stay in, get high, and watch snl. i think she stopped seeing me shortly after that episode because i was laughing so hard over this.
