A Fun Afternoon

I don't usually like to brag about stuff, but there are just some instances when I just can't keep the bravado in. Times like these: While you guys are all at work, slaving away, watching the clock tick ever-so-slowly towards 5pm, I, C-Dog, will be spending the remainder of my afternoon talking about debt consolidation with a credit counselor.

That right, you heard me. Debt consolidation. With a credit counselor, no less.

Jealous?

P.S. My life is so exciting that you all just got motion sickness.

Oh Man.

And here I am stuck at Company, Inc!

I need to go take some Dramamine®™©™ now.

Lioux... Get the extra-strength.

Jeff... Yeah, it's pretty sweet. But remember: You've got to work damn hard to be this much of a scumbag.

You have debt? Psshaw. Well then again, the cost of living in NYC is quite brutal, eh?

Hopefully you haven't had collectors calling you at all hours threatening to repossess your favorite bottle of whiskey in the middle of the night.

They can take anything but my whiskey. They come for that and they've got the fight of their lives on their hands.

My husband and I went through that a few years ago. Thank god for it, or we would still have been up to our ears in debt. We finally paid it all off last year. No more credit cards, ever ever ever ever ever. Ever.

I say: good for you! Rah, rah! It's tough to swallow the pride and do it, but it's got to be done. Keep your friendly neighborhood banker in mind if you ever have questions :) (That would be me.)

Good to know! Will keep that in mind, for sure, because I certainly don't know what I'm doing.

I have almost gone there. Aern't you afraid it's another trap, like Credit Cards™®ç©? Luckily one of my bff's moms gave me some valuable counseling. Do you have some friend's mom or dad who knows about money stuff?

Yeah, I was worried about that at first. My boss, however, was an accountant for 20 years and she's totally got my back. I'm under orders not to sign anything until she's had a chance to look it over. I think it'll be cool; she's a smart lady and she, for some reason, seems to have my best interest (no pun intended) at heart.
