UPDATE: Straightest. Post. Ever.

UPDATE: Someone made a music video of my feelings!!!

-----------------------------------------------------

Rare is it that I spontaneously turn into a fifteen year-old girl, but this morning, Jess Mariano from Gilmore Girls was totally on my train!!! Eeeeek!!! If you're unfamiliar with the show (because you've got a life) of if you haven't seen his recent work on Heroes, this is him:

No joke, my nearly 27-year streak of unimpeachable heterosexuality would be in serious jeopardy if he sidled up next to me in a bar and offered to make me an honest man. I mean this in the butchest way possible, but, and you can quote me on this, "Yum."

Anyway, he was standing about halfway down the car from me and he looked very normal; a little tired, maybe, but who isn't at 8am? I thought for half a second about going up to him and asking him just why, exactly, he was such a jerk to Rory, but then I reconsidered after I realized that I didn't want to look like a scary stalker.

Besides, he got off at the West 4th St. stop, so now I know where to sit and wait for him forever and ever until we're married!

NOTE: To be fair, C-dog was a little hungover this morning and, thus, isn't entirely sure that it was, in fact, Jess from Gilmore Girls. It may have been just another hunky Italian man and, if so, C-dog would like to apologize for the thirty minute, unblinking stare that made even the homeless guy passed out on the bench uncomfortable.

2ND NOTE: I loves the ladies! Really!!!

I think you had better beg Amy to stay in NY, you're falling apart already. What's going to happened when she has been for a um I don't know a freaking day.

Yikes... I've heard of man crushes. I've even had a few. Current List:
1) LeBron James- he's a better player and a better human than me
2) Jake Peavy- single handedly keeping my fantasy baseball team in contention
3) Steve Carrell- My Office addiction is a bit out of hand.

... but seriously?? Some dude from the Gilmore Girls?

Yikes!

Midwesterner... I was always more of a JR Ewing man, myself.

Jew... Hooray!!! Never been a gay best friend before. Hope the fact that I'll still be having sex with my girlfriend won't queer the deal (pun SOOOO intended).

Kitty... Sorry, I should have been more up-front with my TV viewing predilictions. To be fair, though, I've only seen through season 4.

Lioux... I don't share!!! MINE!!!

No wonder you changed your picture, you are fracturing apart before our very eyes. When you said you wanted to make this the best blog I didn’t think you would go this far. Maybe you should go watch the Lesbian Mesmerizer video a few hundred times, it might numb you up. Wish I knew how to loop the video as I would have a website called that were that would play nonstop until the end of time.

o! m! GGGGGG!!!!!!

this is the awesomest news ever. In my mental re-enactment of this, he sees you looking and comes over to you. "I really cared about her, man" he says. "I know," you say, in a sympathetic, manly and not at all gay way. Then you silently regard the floor of the subway car with downcast eyes, thinking everything you cannot say about that total jerk Logan. Then you become best friends and invite me over and we all get drunk all the time and get a house at the beach and stuff, and there are hot dogs. The end.

I've never watched Gilmore Girls, so I don't know about all that, but that dude is the guy from Heroes!!! Peter Petrelli! *squee!* See, that's why it would be awesome to live in a thriving metropolis. Or even, like, a regular-opolis.

Although I know not this hunk of whom you speak, this is a much better sighting than me standing next to Matt Pinfield at the Interpol show last night and imagining how I would start up a convo with him about how we both used to be DJs on WRSU, Rutgers University radio.

Stewpid, you should TOTALLY write for television. That script was AWESOME! The part about the hot dogs really got to me.

Colleen, you do know that I know Matt Pinfield®™©™ don't you?!

Seriously.

oh, thanks, you guys! I am thinking a good new feature of ZFS might be commenter awards, and the award should be a beach house with various stars of television shows, plus also hot dogs. LOTS of hot dogs.

Blythe... You know, I've never seen that show. I'll have to take your word on it.

David... C-dog's gotta follow his heart, yo.

Rory Gilmore... OMG! Say hi to everyone in Stars Hollow!

Stewpid... Wow. Just wow. I'm going to wrap that comment around me like a fuzzy blanket.

Jew... Your absolutely right, but sadly I'll never do Commenter Rankings. Because I am lazy. Besides, you're all #1 in my eyes.

Colleen... I would have asked him what it was like to be the only fat, homely guy at MTV ever.

Lioux... Hot dogs always make me cry. That's why I can't enter a Nathan's anymore without a box of tissues.

Jeff... Yeah, but did you SEE the guy? Hunk-o-rama.

Stewpid 2... Again, probably won't happen. Too much work, a fact to which I'm sure Midwesterner could attest.

Did you know that he and Rory date in real life? It's true! Who knows, they might not be together anymore, but they were dating for a few years at least!
