I humbly submit my new definition of the word "tedium." Actually, it could be the new definition for "pointless," "misguided," "lame" and "crap-tacular" as well.

You mean that a remake of a moderately decent 80's thriller sucked? I am shocked. One of the great things about being out of the country is that it gets harder to keep up with the seemingly thousands of films being remade. I did see Zombi 2 recently, though and it ruled. Thanks for that.
Yeah, believe me when I say that you've missed nothing. One of the downsides of reviewing movies is that I have to sit through utter poo like The Hitcher and the recent desecration of the Texas Chainsaw franchise.
Anyway, glad you enjoyed Zombi 2. It's a fun film, provided that you've enough beer and liquor on hand.
