No, totally... The Cards didn't look horrible or anything, though I expected a lot more out of Pujols. They just looked a little rusty following Spring Training. And I think the Mets were looking to settle a score last night.

I think the Royals are going to be a contender in about two years; they're still too much in a rebuilding phase right now to pose a threat. Plus, the Tigers are going to be GUNNING for the series they should have one last year.
I agree with you on the Mets, though. Despite what the Phillies may think, the Mets are the best team in the NL.

Yeah so you won the home opener. As last year proved, really, in the end, it only matters who fucks up less and then only after the all star break.
